Nicholas Zaranyika

I am a mature man, aged 44. Worked in the Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Services, and retired after completion of a 20 yr service in February 2025. There I worked as a receptionist at Chikurubi Maximum Security Prison , until 2011 when I drifted into the transport section. I started Class 2 driving duties in 2011 at the same station. In 2016, I underwent a Security and Intelligence course at Ntabazinduna training school. Came back and practiced as a security officer at Chikurubi Maximum Security Prison. I was then transfered to the Prisons National HQ, where I was doing VIP driving duties for eight years, from 2015 to 2022. I moved to Mashonaland West Province, as sheauffer to Assistant Commissioner, the Deputy Officer Commanding Mash West Province. I then upgraded my driving skills,into becoming a Class one driver in September 2023. I eventually left the VIP driving and started the class one driving duties, now at the Harare Metropolitan Province, were i would ferry officers for various duties countrywide. I was later transfered to Harare Remand Prison, performed the same Class one driving duties , until my retirement on the second of February 2025.
After Prisons, I briefly joined the Sterling Group of Hotels on contract , which has since elapsed. And currently am not attached to any company or organization.
